Hi folks, we are Jim and Josie of Ozark Mountain Goats. After many years of planning and working in the city, we finally made the move to our 27 acres in the beautiful southern Missouri Ozarks. For years Jim wanted to raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats and after retiring here in 2016, we were able to make that happen! Our goal is to raise quality goats that produce quality goat milk. We plan to make our own cheeses and skin products such as soaps and lotions.
Many steps have been taken to get to the point where we could see our dream come alive. Like clearing woodland for pastures, building fences, building a goat barn for the girls and a shed for the boys, running water and electric lines, and of course buying quality goats. We think we’ve finally come close to what we set out to do in the beginning. Now to put it into action!
We will have goat kids for sale every spring so please follow us on Facebook, Youtube and Instagram for all the latest updates and happenings at Ozark Mountain Goats! And if your interested in buying a baby goat please contact us and get on our list!
Thanks for spending some time with us, Jim and Josie
